Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA strong spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE CENTS. A much closer spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, MO...LLO of MONTICELLO and both sides of the building. All spreads decrease slightly from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Diagonal die scratch NE of Jefferson's eye. Reverse: Small die gouge above upper right corner of small right window; small die gouge (dot) to upper right of long right window.
