Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA strong tripling spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM. Strong doubling shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO and the left side of the building. All spreads decrease from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Die scratch connecting upper portions of R and I of PLURIBUS; die gouge (dot) inside lower right triangle below dome.
