Description

Class V, Pivoted Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesA strong CW spread from a pivot at 3 oclock shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO, E PLURIBUS UNUM, the dome and the left side of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: Slanted die scratches through right upper tip of Y of LIBERTY. Reverse: Several short die gouges NE inside upper left side of small right window; die gouge (dot) inside lower right side of long right window; several die gouges (dots) in semi-circle above two center columns.
