Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice tripled spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, decreasing from left to right. Tripling shows best on the lower serifs of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge on base of bust just left of queue. Reverse: Small die gouge (dot) to lower right of first L and die gouge (dot) between second L and O of MONTICELLO; die gouge beneath R of AMERICA.
