Description
Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM slightly increasing from left to right. A closer spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, CENTS and the second O of MONTICELLO increasing from left to right. E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA also show a slight CCW spread. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) in hair west of BE of LIBERTY; die gouge (dot) at bottom edge of bust at about 5:30. Reverse: Die gouge from lower right of building to top of porch steps; massive die gouge under porch to left of dome.
