Description
Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub DoublingA very nice spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A close spread shows on CENTS and ELLO of MONTICELLO. E PLURIBUS UNUM also shows a slight CCW spread. All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Diagonal die gouge left of W of WE; vertical die gouge to upper left of L of LIBERTY. On Stage B, the obverse is listed as WDDO-003. Reverse: Die gouge (dot) to right of bottom of left arch; die gouge (dot) above left arch on dome.
