Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA strong spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM.  A close spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES where it is strongest on STATES. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Short die gouge between upper portions of R and I of PLURIBUS; vertical die gouge in lower half of N of UNUM; circular die scratches between third and fourth columns.
