Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the second O of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building. All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) in field just left of chin; die gouge to left of upper portion of E of LIBERTY. Reverse: Die gouge inside center of first U of PLURIBUS; die gouge just under right end of upper crossbar of E of E PLURIBUS.
