Description

A spread shows towards the center, increasing from left to right on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Die Markers: Obverse: A long die scratch runs SSW from the hair just above the nape of the neck, passing to the right of the Y in LIBERTY. A concentric die scratch runs from the top of G of GOD to I of IN. Worn die scratches run NNE/SSW through and above the date. Reverse: A heavy die scratch vertically from the middle of the diagonal bar of the N of CENT. Several parallel die scratches run NNE through the upper left side of the T of CENT. A vertical die scratch is present under the 11th Memorial column. A die scratch runs southwest from the lower left side of the D of UNITED.
