1962 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-081

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-093.  It replaces the original WDDR-081 listing which was delisted because it was a doubled working hub (See WWHR-003 below).  Class II doubling shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right.  Very slight doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Short die gouge between L and U of PLURIBUS; die scratches on rim below IT of UNITED; die gouge near rim above UM of UNUM.
