Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesA strong spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PLURIBUS UNUM, CENTS, TICELLO and the right side of the building with all spreads increasing from left to right. The lower serifs of STATES are clearly tripled. Die Markers: Obverse: Short die gouge SW from center of left side of Y of LIBERTY. Reverse: Die scratch through second O of MONTICELLO SSW to upper left portion of M of AMERICA.
