Description
Class II + VI, Distorted and Distended Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesVery strong extra thickness, along with some separation lines, show on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA with the spread toward the center increasing slightly from left to right. Extra thickness also shows on both sides of the building. Extra thickness and much stronger Class II separation show on FIVE CENTS and MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: Heavy die scratch between top of D of GOD and W of WE. Reverse: Die gouges (dots) to left of upper portion and to right of lower portion of second A of AMERICA; die gouge (dot) just under second S of STATES.
