Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE CENTS. A closer spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and MO of MONTICELLO. All spreads decrease from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Short diagonal die gouge on back of coat below collar; short vertical die gouge between upper portions of N of IN and G of GOD. Reverse: Die gouge (dot) above and between left small and long windows; two short die gouges between upper portions of C and A of AMERICA.
