1961 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-028

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-086.  It replaces the original WDDR-028 listing which was delisted because it was a doubled working hub.  Nice Class II doubling shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, decreasing from left to right.  Doubling also shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, again decreasing from left to right, and on FIVE CENTS, MON of MONTICELLO and the left side of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Two small die dots above T of UNITED; small die dot above right side of M of MONTICELLO.
