Description
Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Thin NE/SW die scratches throughout the obverse. Vertical die scratch inside the G in GOD. Concentric die scratch at the back of the head. Die gouge between the upper R and T in LIBERTY. Large die gouge centered on the head. Obverse Stage B: Stage A die gouge between the R and T still present. Other Stage A die markers may or may not be present. Reverse Stage A: Reverse is WDDR-018, class II doubling shows on OF AMERICA and very slightly on UNUM. NE/SW die scratches right of the dome. NE/SW scratch above the left roof. NE/SW die scratch above the ES in STATES. Two vertical die scratches inside the C in AMERICA. Strong die scratch at the rim right of the D in UNITED. NW/SE die scratches through and below UNUM. E/W die scratch through the tops of the last S in STATES and OF. Reverse Stage B: Most Stage A die markers still present, though weaker.
