Description
A CW spread from a pivot at 9:00 shows on OF AMERICA, ONE DIME, UNUM, right oak leaves and the right dot. Die Markers: Obverse: Type I. Series of SE die scratches from the lower ear. X-shaped scratches between the forehead and the Y of LIBERTY. Series of NNE/SSW die scratches at the bridge of the nose. Die scratch from the W of WE, north, between IN GOD. Die scratches north from the top of the 9 in the date. Reverse: Trumpet tail mintmark. WNW/ESE die scratches between the UNIT of UNITED. E/W die scratch connecting the U and E of UNITED. Die scratch from the lower acorn, south, through the dot. N/S die scratches from the upper right oak leaf through the lower right oak leaf toward the M in UNUM. Obverse:
