Description

Reverse: Die Markers: Obverse: Trumpet Tail Mintmark. N/S die scratches on most of the obverse. N/S die scratches are seen running from the top of the beard to the lower lip. Die scratch runs north from the top of the beard to the upper lip. Short die gouge runs north from the nose ending in the field just above. Die chip on the nose pocket. N/S die scratches about LIBERTY notably; a stronger die scratch runs north from the tops of the E & R with the R die scratch of LIBERTY shorter than the E die scratch. Long die scratch runs through the T of LIBERTY south to north above and below. Reverse: Die Crack starting at the rim next to the upper left wheat stalk runs S/W than S along the left edges of the left side kernels ending at the next to last kernel. Faint die scratches run north from the top of the U of UNITED ending in the field above. Obverse:
