Description
S/S Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse: Trumpet Tail Mintmark. Die scratches run NNW from the top of the TY in LIBERTY. A N/S die scratch can be found on the center of the neck. N/S die scratches can be found to the right of the eye and to the right of the bridge of the nose. N/S die scratches are seen in and around the 19 in the date. Reverse: Die scratch to the lower right of the T of CENT running south through the second T of STATES. Die scratch runs from the right upper second T of STATES ending in the field above the last A of AMERICA. Close duel die scratches start just above and running through the first S of STATES ending at the top left edge of the R of AMERICA. Die scratches in the form of an irregular and upside down V between the E & R of AMERICA. Obverse:
