Description

S/S Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Light N/S die scratches right of Lincoln’s profile. Die scratch connecting the top of Lincoln’s nose to the eyebrow. Obverse Stage B: Die scratches at Lincoln’s profile nearly abraded away. Die scratch at Lincoln’s nose is weaker and no longer connects from the top of the nose to the brow. Small die chip at the edge of and centered on the inside tail of the 9. Primary mint mark is abraded. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch from the right inside of the N in UNITED. Reverse Stage B: Die scratch at UNITED is nearly abraded away. Small die chips near and towards the bottom of the T & E of UNITED. Small die chip centered and on the left edge of the E of UNITED.
