Description
Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A circular die scratch pattern can be seen to the left and right of the bust. Obverse Stage B: Remnants of a die clash mark extend east from the upper back of the queue. Reverse Stage A: Two die scratches arc to the ESE from the lower right side of the P mintmark. A mostly N/S die scratch can be found near the right edge of Monticello. Reverse Stage B: The Stage A die markers are much weaker. Numerous fine abrasion lines run N/S just above Monticello.
