1945 Repunched Mintmark WRPM-032

Description

P/P South Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found below the E in WE. A die scratch runs WSW from the bottom of the first T in TRUST. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1945-P 5¢ WDDR-008. A spread towards the center shows on EPU decreasing from left to right. A vertical die scratch can be found inside the right arch. Three parallel die scratches run NE from the CE in CENTS. Numerous light die scratches run N/S above Monticello.
