Description

Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1945-P 5¢ WDDO-006. A CCW spread from a pivot at about 3:00 shows on IGWT. A small die gouge can be found inside the U in TRUST. A die scratch runs south from the bottom right of the W in WE. Reverse: A short die gouge runs NNW/SSE above the right arch. A die gouge runs NNW from the steps on the bottom right of Monticello.
