Description

S/S Northwest Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is also a doubled die that is listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1943-S 1¢ WDDO-012. Die scratches to the west of the W in WE run WNW. Heavy concentric die scratches are present by the rim to the southeast of the second T in TRUST. A vertical die clash is present in front of the throat. Reverse: Multiple die chips are present below the UR in PLURIBUS. A die chip is present at the east side of the E of ONE, at the center horizontal bar. Obverse:
