Description
A spread towards the center shows on USA and slightly on QUARTER DOLLAR. It is best seen on the letters with lower serifs.Die Markers: Obverse: A WNW/ESE die scratch can be found below the left side of the L in LIBERTY. A die crack runs across the base of the bust extending well into the fields on both sides of the bust. Reverse: Two parallel die scratches run from the lower T to the E in UNITED.
