Description
A strong Class I CW spread shows LIBERTY, the date, IGWT, the lower ribbon, and the designer’s initials.Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs WNW from the upper left of the R in LIBERTY to the rim. A die runs along the base of the bust extending to the upper left of the one in the date. Reverse: A die crack runs from the US in PLURIBUS to the upper left wing. Two short die gouges run NE from the upper right of the R in QUARTER.Submitted By: Joe RizdyCross References: None known Obverse: Die scratches run WNW/ESE inside the upper and lower B in LIBERTY. A die scratch runs from the lower B to the lower E in LIBERTY. A die scratch runs SW/NE to the right of the E in WE. Reverse: Numerous circular die scratches can be found throughout the reverse.
