Description
Extra thickness shows on the both wheats, both dots, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack is present on the right side of 9 in the date. Several heavy die scratches run NNW/SSE under the bowtie. A long die scratch runs from under the chin NNW through the chin and lips. Die crack runs above VDB. A die crack runs north from the aforementioned die crack. Another die crack runs across the central lower bust. Reverse: A short die scratch runs north to south under E in EPL. A die gouge is present right of the lower M in UNUM. A long die crack runs from the rim south through L in PLURIBUS into the left side of O in ONE and down toward the right side of C in CENT. Horizontal die scratches run through the central portion of O in ONE. A die crack is present on the left side of C in CENT. A die crack is present on the lower T in CENT. A die scratch runs NNW/SSE to the right of upper T in CENT. Die scratches run NE/SW under and through the lower portion of T in CENT. Several multidirectional die scratches run through AME in AMERICA. A die crack runs from S in STATES southwest to the right rim. A thin die crack runs through the outer right wheat kernels. Obverse:
