P/P WestDie Markers: Obverse Stage A: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die File as 1943-P 5¢ WDDO-007. A strong Class I CCW spread shows on IGWT, LIBERTY, the star, and the date. Obverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: Light die scratch SE from the lower outside leg of the N in MONTICELLO. Reverse Stage B: Series of N/S die scratches west of the dome and intersected by a NE/SW die scratch.Submitted By: John A. WexlerCross References: CONECA: RPM #19 Obverse: None significant.
