Description
D/D South Die Markers: Obverse: Curving die scratches in a N/S direction left of the 1 in the date. A die gouge can be found between the upper E of WE and T of TRUST. Die crack east from the B in the designer’s initials running along the bust line. Second E/W die crack above the previous crack running over the designer’s initials that is intersected by a die crack running north. Reverse: Die scratches NE from the top of the T in CENT. ENE/WSW die scratch through the lower area of the T in CENT. Numerous other die scratches, mostly SW/NE, can be found throughout the reverse. Thin die crack starting at the top of the O of ONE running north to the first U in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
