Description
S/S TiltedDie Markers: Obverse: Two parallel die scratches run northeast from the right side of 1 in the date. A die scratch running ESE/WNW is present below the 2 in the date. A nearly horizontal die scratch is present between the E in WE and the first T in TRUST. Nearly vertical die scratches are present to the left of the lower bust. Reverse: A light concentric die scratch runs above E PLURIBUS UNUM and the top of the right wheat ear close to the rim. A die scratch runs NW/SE below the UN in UNUM. A strong die scratch runs from the left wheat stem to below the O in OF. WSW/ENE die scratches run above and around the right wheat stem.Submitted By: Keith ChristensonCross References: None known Obverse: Die gouge well left of I in IN at the rim. A small SSW/NNE die scratch is present to the upper right of the G in GOD. Circular die scratch is present at the rim below the back of the bust and to the right of the date up to approximately two thirds the way to the second T in TRUST. A very light die clash is present at the neck. A die gouge is present in the lower jacket fold. Reverse: A light die scratch is present above right side of E in EPU to the rim. A light die scratch is present above IB in PLURIBUS parallel to the rim. A die gouge is present abutting the lower right R in AMERICA. Light die scratches run ESE through lower first A in AMERICA. A die gouge is present above left side of N in CENT.
