Description
A Class IV spread to the north shows on the ON of ONE, the CE of CENT, the US of PLURIBUS, both U’s in UNUM, the N, T, E, and D of UNITED, and also on the AMER and last A in AMERICA. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs from WSW to ENE below the bowtie. A die clash mark can be found to the right of the throat. Reverse: A die clash mark can be found between the lower C and E in CENT extending below the C. A die clash mark runs SW from the lower left C in AMERICA. A curving die scratch can be found between the E in EPU and the top of the left wheat ear. A light die scratch runs from WNW to ESE inside the upper M in AMERICA. Obverse:
