Description
Light Class VI extra thickness shows on the outer devices, increasing from left to right. Light Class II separation lines show on the left and right wheat tips. Die Markers: Obverse: Parallel die scratches show below Lincoln’s bowtie. A series of diagonal die scratches show below the letters BERTY in LIBERTY. A die gouge shows well below the R in LIBERTY. A die gouge shows to the right of the Y in LIBERTY. Diagonal die scratches show in the field below the G in GOD. Light die scratches show at the rim above the U in TRUST. A light series of diagonal die scratches show between Lincoln’s hairline and upper forehead. Reverse: A diagonal die scratch shows below the second U in PLURIBUS. A strong die gouge shows through the top of M in UNUM. A series of curved die scratches show below the M in UNUM. Light concentric die scratches show inside the opening of the C in CENT. A diagonal die scratch shows to the northeast of the T in CENT. A short die scratch runs north from the upper E in STATES.
