Description
Reverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1936 1¢ WDDO-016. It is a doubled eyelid variety showing an extra eyelid north of the normal eyelid. A short die scratch runs from north to south just to the right of the lips. Reverse: A die scratch runs from north to south to the left of the center of the T in CENT. A die scratch runs SSE from the upper left of the 2nd T in STATES to the center of the T. A light die crack can be found on two of the outer kernels SE of the 2nd S in STATES. Obverse:
