Description
Strong extra thickness shows on both wheat ears and stems, the letters of EPU, the dots, and to a lesser extent on the letters of USA. The strongest spread can be found on the wheat stems. Die Markers: Obverse: None recorded. Reverse: A die scratch runs parallel to the rim above the letters of PLURIBUS. A short die scratch runs SW from the left center of the N in ONE. A die scratch runs SSE from the top center of the C in CENT. A short die gouge can be found between the top of the left vertical bar and the diagonal bar of the N in CENT. A die scratch runs from the center of the 1st S in STATES to the lower left of the S. Obverse:
