Description
Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1936 1¢ WDDO-017. An extra eyelid shows SE of the normal eyelid. A die scratch runs from north from the center of the nose. Numerous die scratches run E/W through GOD. Obverse Stage B: New obverse die. The neck and the lower beard show heavy die pitting. A die gouge can be found on left side of the upper curve of the S in TRUST. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch runs south from the bottom of the second S in STATES. Reverse Stage B: A light die crack can be found left of the upper wheat grain on the left wheat stalk. Obverse Stage A:
