=1926-S VAM- 2I High S, Rays on Top of Mountains= Discovered by Bill Toland, August 2011 2I II1 - B2a (High S, Rays on Top of Mountains) I-4 R-5 Obverse II1 - Small curvy thread-like die impression in hair to left of hair bun. Die file lines below L and between ER in LIBERTY Reverse B2b -Shortened ray above eagle's left wing end, right side of N of ONE and above A in DOLLAR from die polishing. Rays strengthened at die clash marks to right of olive leaves with 2 rays engraved to extend on top of left in middle mountains. Comments: 1. Since VAM numbers are assigned by die classification, and not just by die pairing, multiple die pairings may exist. This reverse die is the LDS of VAM 2B.
