=1922-D VAM-8 Doubled Wing= Discovered by Jeff Oxman, October 1999. 8 II 1 · B2e (Doubled Wing, Die Goube B) I-3 R-5 Obverse II1 - Semi-circular die gouge at rim to left of B in LIBERTY. Reverse B2e– Doubled right edge of eagle’s right wing, and lower edges of DO in DOLLAR, upper olive branches and middle of eagle’s right talons. Comments: 1. 3 different obverse dies have been found paired w/ the 1922-D VAM-8 reverse (DK)
