=1921-S VAM-1CC Scribbling Die Scratches= Discovered September 2011 by C. Logan McKechnie. 1CC IV 1 D2a (Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) D2a - Fine die scratches in various die directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. ''Die marker'' - Diagonal polishing line back of lower arrow head. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The coin has a weak S m/m that doesn't match any previously listed VAM & filled letters or mintmarks are no longer considered separate VAMs but striking errors 1921-S Filled Mint Marks.
