=1921-S VAM-15D Doubled STATES OF, Polished Reverse, Clashed Obverse n & s= Discovered 2005 as the 1921-S VAM-15A, revised March 2009 to 1921-S VAM-15D. 15D IV 23 · D2l (Doubled STATES OF, Polished Reverse, Clashed Obverse n & s) (189) Obverse IV 23 – Faint partial clashed n in front of Liberty's neck. Different polishing pattern from VAM 15C2. Reverse D2l – Added stronger polishing in lower part of eagle's left wing, removing lines from VAM 15C2. Heavier, mostly vertical polishing lines in upper tail feathers where scribbling scratches once were. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # This is a Bean Bottom S variety.
