=1921-P VAM-78 Quadrupled Stars, Doubled Profile, Scribbling Die Scratches= 17 berry reverse 78 IV59 - D1a (Quadrupled Stars, Doubled Profile, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) Obverse IV59 - Slightly quadrupled left and right stars and date digits and E PLURIB towards rim. Slightly doubled profile from Liberty band down to lips, top of Phrygian cap and lower hair edge. Reverse D1a- Slightly doubled left wreath. Some long vertical fine die scratches on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and in middle of both wings. ''Die marker'' - Horizontal polishing line above right ribbon and horizontal polishing line above eagle's right shoulder. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The 21-P VAM-78 is a cakewalk to attribute compared to most scribbles VAMs. There are a few long, curvy, vertical scribbles that are easy to distinguish.
