=1921-P VAM-72A Tripled Left stars & E PL, Doubled Profile, Wing Top Gouges= Discovered by Jeff Oxman, August 2006. 72A IV 54 · D1a (Tripled Left stars & E PL, Doubled Profile, Wing Top Gouges) (189) Reverse D1a– Several broad, shallow vertical gouges from top of eagle’s left wing up thru F in OF to denticles and below wing top next to first A in AMERICA. Similar to gouges in VAMs 3AB & 3AD and likely caused by press feed fingers malfunction.
