DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Cracks and breaks around first three left stars are much more severe on VAM 3K2 than they are on VAM 3K1. image:z21Pmorgan3K_QTRobv.jpg 720px It seems that the VAM-3K is also a scribbling scratches variety, also listed for a while as 1921-P VAM-3CO, though this is still waiting Leroy confirmation. The oblong "stretched football" field scribble off the feathers off the right leg is a case-closed diagnostic feature: image:1921-P_VAM-3K_scribbling_scratches1.jpg The scribbles in the traditional areas are highly concentrated and difficult to photograph. They contain a combination of straight and very curved scratches: image:1921-P_VAM-3K_scribbling_scratches2.jpg 766px 400px 400px 990px 990px 7/2017
