'''Reverse D2a''' - '''DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: '''Comments: # The former VAM 59 "dot above O in DOLLAR" is now [[1921-P VAM-59A, which is a late die state of the re-classified VAM 59. # This new VAM 59 is an earlier die state with no dot above O but does have four denticle impressions through the tip of the olive branch. # Both V59 and V59A have matching scribbles, TY die scratch, and gouge in wing. # At least one known V59A (dot above O in DOLLAR) also has denticle impressions through the olive branch tip, so be sure to check your coin carefully.
