=1921-D VAM-1W1 High Die Breaks Left Wreath = 1W1 IV1 - D2a (High Die Breaks Left Wreath) (189) Reverse D2a- Vertical die crack in center of second leaf cluster from top of left wreath. Break higher in leaf clusters than VAMs 1AN/12A. (Formerly VAM-1BP) Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. ''Die marker'' - Single diagonal polishing line inside wreath bow and right outside. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Die break in the left wreath is in a higher position than 1921-D VAM-12A & 1921-D VAM-1AN (which share a common reverse). VAM-1W1 has the crack in the second left leaf cluster from the top, where VAM-12A and VAM-1AN have their break in the next segment down, the third leaf cluster.
