Displaced field die break between RI (1921-D VAM-1T1). ''Reverse D2a - Die crack thru tops of ERIC in AMERICA with die break at top left of E. Die marker'' - ''Diagonal die scratch on lower arrow head.'' DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The VAM-1T2 die break can be seen as a small tail forming off the top left of the E in AMERICA. While the break itself is fairly unremarkable in terms of 1921-D die flaws, there are substantial die cracks elsewhere that make this coin desirable. Take a look at the extensive crack that runs almost rim to rim on the obverse. Starting between the first and second left star under liberty’s face, the crack proceeds up through her jaw, behind her mouth & emerges out the top of her head to finish with a'' displaced field break between the R and I of PLURIBUS (1921-D VAM-1T1).
