=1921-D VAM-1T Scribbling Die Scratches #22 (Formerly VAM 1CU)= Discovered by Jim Hart, June 2001. Polishing lines in middle of wings and tail feathers. (Formerly VAM 1CU) DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # VAM-1T was refined & revised in November of 2011 & split into VAM-1T listed for scribbles only, & 1921-D VAM-1T1 & 1921-D VAM-1T2 listed for extensive die breaks. # VAMs-1T1 and 1T2 have an amazing rim-to-rim vertical obverse die crack across that runs from between the first two left stars, through Liberty's face, between R & I, and all the way to the upper rim! VAM 1T examples may have part of the crack, such as from between the two left stars to Liberty's chin, and even across her face, but it does not reach the rim above R & I. # Late die state VAM 1Ts are also known with the gouge through the lower arrowhead that is a characteristic of VAMs 1T1 and 1T2.
