=1921-D VAM-1K2 Die Break 5th Left Star, Scribbling Die Scratches #51= 1K2 IV 1 - D2a (Die Break 5th Left Star, Scribbling Die Scratches #51) (189) Obverse IV 1- Die break a lower left side of fifth left star. Heavy die crack extends from fifth left star to below second left star and continuing to Liberty head neck. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # 1921-D VAM-1AV Die Scratch DO (eliminated Oct 2007, same as 1921-D VAM-1K). # The 1921-D VAM-1K is noted for reverse scratches and gouge.
