=1921-D VAM-1CM Die Scratch/Gouge 1st T of STATES, Scribbling Die Scratches= Discovered July 2007 by Brian Raines. 1CM (revised) IV 1 D2a(Die Scratch T, Scribbling Die Scratches #14) (189) Reverse D2a - Polishing lines in wings and tail feathers. Later die state has fine fine vertical die scratch from denticles down to top left T in STATES. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg. ''Die marker'' - Single horizontal die polishing line to right of top berry in first berry cluster. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: EDS coins may not have the die scratch/gouge at the 1st T in STATES.
