=1921-D VAM-14 Tripled Stars, Scribbling Die Scratches= Discovered by John Kohut, October 2003. (Desirability: image:star2.gif ) 14 IV 12 · D2a (Tripled Stars, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) Obverse IV 12– Left stars tripled to quadrupled and right stars doubled to tripled towards rim. Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. ''Die marker'' - Short horizontal die scratch at eagle's right leg and diagonal die scratch thru 1-6 outer feathers from bottom of eagle's right wing. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Some specimens have a filled die D mint mark making it flush with field.
