DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # This is a "Bean Bottom S" variety, but this variety may be double-listed as the 1921-D VAM-13. Examine the photo below for a line between the "u" in "Trust" and "O" in "OF." It seems that this is the same die gouge as in the 1921-D VAM-13. It may also be related to 1921-D VAM-5B. # Die fill in We removing one word of the reverse motto. Also, Both 1's in date doubled below upper crossbar. 9 tripled at bottom outside of upper loop and 2 tripled at bottom of upper ball.
