=1902-O VAM-86 Near Date, 2 Olive Reverse= Discovery 2012 86 III2-3 - C4/C3ao (Near Date, 2 Olive Reverse) (181) Obverse III2-3 - Date at right edge of near date lateral position. ''Die Marker -'' Thin diagonal die scratch in hair above first right star. Reverse C4/C3ao - III O mint mark set high and tilted to left. Extra olive to right of olive connected to olive branch. Doubling at top of olive branch, top edge of arrow feathers, back of lower arrow head, middle of upper feathers of eagle's left wing and back of eagle's nostril and eye. ''Die Marker -'' Small curved thread-like die impression of sixth inner feather from bottom of eagle's left wing. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # It appears that 1902-O VAM-86 and 1902-O VAM-98 are the exact same die pair. # 1902-O VAM-86, 1902-O VAM-98, 1902-O VAM-100 were all produced with the exact same obverse die. # The obverse of some LDS examples show signs of moderate die sinking all around from the denticles into the field past the stars and legend.
